i called it “anxious.marketer” because it’s funny and true
hi, I’m Elena. an anxious marketer turned purpose-driven fractional CMO.
i'll be honest: the state of the world makes me oscillate between hope and mild existential panic on a fairly regular basis. i suspect you know the feeling.
what keeps me grounded is working with founders who are doing something about it.
i'm not a scientist, i can't cure endometriosis or reverse climate change. but i can make sure the people who are trying get seen, understood, and taken seriously.
that's what i'm here for.
who am i?
i'm a fractional CMO for femtech, climate tech, and impact startups. i've spent 13+ years in marketing, including regional lead at Starbucks, B2B campaigns at Kaspersky, and startups in healthtech and edtech.
i have an MSc in Marketing from HEC Paris. i've seen what works inside big brands - and i left to help smaller ones get a fighting chance.
when my daughter was born, something clicked. i didn't want to spend my career making corporations slightly more efficient. i wanted to work with people building things that actually matter.
so now i do. and it turns out that being genuinely anxious about the world makes you a pretty good marketer for people who are trying to fix it.
oh, and i’m based in Portugal.
